"Femme fatale"
When I was eight I decided to become a witch. Yes, it was about that time when Miss Rowling created Harry Potter. (It would be so good to say I became a witch under the influence of Harry because it would make me more then six years younger :-))
The subject of my first witchery was a frog. I kissed it with passion but later on I lost my patience. Then I built up a close relationship with a chick and she told me many secrets.
My mother intervened the first time when she got afraid of been poisoned. Otherwise she let me to do what I wanted and was happy not been disturbed. Of course she was never really happy because she suffered depression.
As a self made witch I learned soon card reading by reading a card reading book. First I tried to cut out the cards but the book was printed very sophisticated I would rather say clever because cutting out a card form one side I destroyed another on the back side of the page. I think I did some woodoo with the publisher…
To have an own deck I decided to draw the cards myself. One of them the Sweetheart is still the most precious picture of my home. I take it from the frame and copy it here.
It was very hard to get my first clients because they neither wanted to drink my magic essences nor hide in the witches hut (it happened to be the henhouse). The only thing I could persuade them was to tell future by my own gipsy cards.
When I predicted a tragedy in the family of one of my classmates I really got troubles with the teachers, with the family and finally with my mother. I was my good luck that the bad luck arrived at the predicted time so I was right and of course the attention was as big as the scandal before. I became overnight a famous fortune teller.
So famous that we had to leave the village I grow up and we moved in the most beautiful city I have ever lived: Budapest.
The new life changed the temper of my mother as well. She is a very happy grandmother now and I’m of course a happy mommy.
What is more I’m not only a famous fortune teller but a good one as well. It was Mirabella how taught me how to work both instinctive and methodical.
I’m very grateful to Bijou too. In fact she is my mother in profession.
The third experience made me confident in my talent was a therapy with psychologists. How funny it ever sounds they wrote a whole chapter about me in titled Femme fatale.
Of course at the moment I’m anything but Femme fatale. If I had to choose my signifier card it would be the Shelter.
